About the song: "Janice STFU"
"Janice STFU" is a song by Canadian rapper Drake from his ninth studio album, Iceman, released on May 15, 2026. Produced by FnZ, B4u and Rogét Chahayed, its chorus interpolates Lykke Li's 2011 hit "I Follow Rivers". In the lyrics, Drake answers his critics and the commentary around his career after his 2024 feud with Kendrick Lamar.
Drake first previewed an early version, then called "That's Just How I Feel", during his Iceman livestream series in September 2025, before reworking it for the album.
Chart success
The song debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard Global 200, giving Drake his 14th Hot 100 chart-topper and the record for the most number ones by a male solo artist. After a second week at the top, it became his first multi-week number one since "In My Feelings" (2018). The Fader picked it as one of the songs of the summer of 2026.
The music video
The official video was directed by Liam MacRae. To promote the song, Drake also hosted invitation-only "apology parties" for people named Janice in five North American cities on June 28, 2026.
