About the song: "Homewrecker"
"Homewrecker" is a song by American singer-songwriter Sombr, released on February 5, 2026 through Warner Records and his own label, SMB. Sombr wrote the song entirely by himself and co-produced it with Tony Berg. It was his first release of 2026, coming just days after his performance at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
It is an upbeat pop song in which Sombr addresses a love interest who is already in a relationship. He doesn't want to insult her partner or break them up, but he can't help thinking he would be a better match.
Chart success
"Homewrecker" became Sombr's highest debut on the Billboard Hot 100 and later peaked at number 15. It reached the top ten in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, and was one of the most streamed new songs of early 2026 on Spotify.
The music video
The official video was directed by Gus Black and stars Sombr alongside internet personality Quenlin Blackwell and actor Milo Manheim, who also appeared in the song's teaser.
