About the song: "Hooligan"
"Hooligan" is the second single from Arirang, the 2026 comeback album by South Korean group BTS, released by BigHit Music on April 7, 2026. It follows the lead single "Swim".
The song is an alternative hip-hop track that samples "Yang Tse-Kiang" by French composer Michel Magne, blending its strings with a percussion rhythm that sounds like blades being sharpened. Sung in Korean and English, the vocalists perform the chorus in falsetto while the rappers deliver aggressive, confident verses that reflect on the group's journey to success.
Production
"Hooligan" was produced by El Guincho, Fakeguido, Jasper Harris and Ghstloop, and members RM, J-Hope, Suga and Jungkook are among its many songwriters.
